Is any particular footwear required?

No. But walking shoes are safer and more comfortable than heels or sandals.

Can I visit on a rainy day?

Yes, but the stone paths become slippery, so please watch your step. In stormy weather, the free video viewing at Ganju Station Nanjo is also available.
